“Talent has no zip code." This is the motto of the Harmony Project Phoenix, a
free non-profit music program that builds orchestras, bands and choirs in
underserved areas of Phoenix. On May 25 at 7:00 pm, Harmony Project Phoenix
will present a showcase featuring 100 children on stage. The highlight of the
repertory is Alas, a heartwarming orchestral piece composed by the Arturo
Marquez that pays tribute to the Pakistan activist Malala Yousafzai.
