Arizona Wind Symphony - Now in its 18th season, the Arizona Wind Symphony (AWS) entertains Tempe and surrounding communities with an enjoyable variety of music in the beautiful Tempe Center for the Arts. Under the baton of William J. Richardson, the AWS is a 90-piece concert band comprised of musicians passionately committed to presenting music of the highest caliber. AWS is comprised of music professionals, non-professionals and students. Joined together by a shared joy and commitment to the arts, AWS musicians are proud to share their time and talents for enriching the cultural landscape of our community.
The Bridge Initiative is an Arizona nonprofit working to identify and empower female artists in the Southwest region, with the aim of gender parity across all theatrical disciplines. The mission also includes bridging the gap between academia and the professional world, encouraging students to envision a clearer path to becoming lifelong artists.

Desert Dance Theatre is a contemporary dance company that was founded in 1979 by four ASU Dance Graduates. Currently, under the artistic direction of Lisa R. Chow and Step Raptis, Desert Dance Theatre has an eclectic variety of dances in the current repertory, which range from classical, comical, abstract and theatrical.
Hayden’s Ferry Chamber Music Series takes place in the Gallery at Tempe Center for the Arts. This Sunday afternoon series features guest artists from all over the United States and they are all exceptionally fine musicians. After the concerts the audience is invited to meet the musicians at a wine reception, and a glass of wine is included in the adult ticket price.
