Sidewalk Stories
Oct 21, 2025 - Jan 21, 2026
Sidewalk Stories invites passersbys to discover moments of surprise and wonder, transforming the windows of downtown Tempe’s post office into vibrant portals of imagination. Each window reveals a miniature ecosystem where deserts meet oceans, gardens intertwine with surreal landscapes, and whimsical creatures roam freely. These playful worlds are fantastical and tactile, blending nature, storytelling, and artistry to spark curiosity across generations.
At its core, Sidewalk Stories celebrates the magic of encounters, both big and small. Art need not be confined to galleries—it can appear in daily routines, interrupt the ordinary, and inspire delight. Through these windows, the exhibition cultivates joy and connection, encouraging viewers to see familiar spaces anew, marvel at the playful possibilities hidden in everyday materials, and imagine new ways of experiencing the world around them.
